A medical malpractice lawsuit was brought against Overland Park Regional Medical Center after Jonathan U died in the hospital two years ago. Jonathan U was brought to the hospital after he was running down a purse snatcher. The purse snatcher was in a car at the time and swerved causing U’s injuries. Jonathan U’s widow is suing the hospital alleging her husband was recovering from his injuries when he took a turn for the worse when the hospital failed to properly respond to U’s condition. U’s widow may be entitled to an award for her husband’s wrongful death including her loss of society and companionship and his future lost wage.
